Bach's compositions for harpsichord and flute are some of his best ever. Baroque is my fav classical music by far.

This is one of my favorite Bachs. All of his harpsichord/flute sonatas are beautiful.

Exquisite.

A little too massive, but
awakening, supportive, and nourishing.

Who are the players?
I guess Nicolet and Richter?
Anyway, perhaps of rather old time.

Years ago I tried playing this piece. It's not as easy as it sounds
(at least for a non professional). Lots of accidentals. Many beautiful
themes, but I agree it drags. Bach beats on the same theme and variations
too long. But what a theme, pure melancholy.

I used to play the flute for many years. After listening to this piece, the artists does a perfect job of playing it. It is not an easy thing to do.
