This tune is pleasant, but relatively unobtrusive. I will vote on it a little later. Do you have the title listed correctly? I found the tune posted somewhere else (where I could refresh my memory of what it sounds like). There the title was simply Ledianoi (meaning "icy" or something similar). The mixture of Russian and English in the title seems odd to me. The musician's name Maia Krasnaia (Beautiful May) is jarring enough with the simpler title as otherwise listed. Then again, it may be culture clash on my part.

Let me correct my earlier post. Maia can mean May (the month), but not in combination with Krasnaia. Problem with case and gender. Did a quick check and found that Maia is the name of a river in Siberia. I don't know if that's what is intended, but it makes more sense with the song title "Icy". I will stop now before I spread further confusion.

Krasnaya must be a second name, but could be a part of the nick, it can mean "red" or "beautiful" depending on the syllable stress :-) "Ледяной Монстр" is "Icy Monster". |

After I sent a second message, I realized that I had gotten "krasnaya" mixed up with "krasivaya" (one of many glitches that I have) and that "krasnaya" was more likely to mean "red", but it can mean "beautiful", too. But I figured I had spread enough disinformation, so I didn't add that.
Большое спасибо! |
