I love this peice, it is so descriptive. Thanks for introducing the composer to me.

I love Perlman and his way of musical interpretation! Please play more such pieces, they are much less "boring" and already-used-to than the other classical ones!
(But please: no Loreena McKennitt, her pieces are better located in the New Age Channel in my opinion ...)

I believe this theme is from an old Yiddish dance song. For your information, El Condor Pasa is a long ago Peruvian folk song that Simon & Garfunkel copied the theme (and name) from.
