My close friend Ciney asked me to play at her wedding and I just couldn't face playing "Here Comes the Bride" as we had sung so many silly words to it at school over the years. I wanted to write something original for Ciney - I imagined the flower girls walking down the isle, then the bridesmaids and then the bride's theme. When Ciney stepped up to take the walk down the isle and the theme began, there wasn't a dry eye there. She had waited sooooo long to find her partner and I wanted it to be really special for her.

You are such a welcome addition to the membership, and no wonder you have the second name "Joy" .....

My only problem? I missed hearing the music, so that means I have to be on line even more .....if that were possible.

I agree -- Thanks for posting how this music came to be.

I have the same problem and now with more interesting streams it is going to be even harder to hear everything I want to.

Take every colour from a rainbow ...

... persuade them to become wonderful musical notes

... then float those notes amongst the guests as the flower girls pass by

It's no wonder it was special, Fiona Joy Hawkins.

Nor is it a wonder why there was not a dry eye ...

(Yep ... finally got to hear this!)

Lovely piece, Fiona. I like it much better than "Here comes the Bride". Ciney is lucky to have you for a friend. And so are we forum members at sky.fm, to have you among us.

A beautiful piece of wonderful piano melodies. Nice key work on this one IMO.

Hello friends,
Awesome!!..I liked it..
I also have some lines of wedding song which I like the most... I don't remember song's title I think it's November Rain..Few lines of it which I like most are..

And when your fears subside
And shadows still remain
I know that you can love me
When there's no one left to blame
So never mind the darkness
We still can find a way.

If you all have some more lines of any majestic wedding song then send me..I"l be waiting.

Regards,
Nelson
