Hullo. I'm a new forum member, but I've been listening to the Smooth Jazz channel for several months now. I didn't even know that Sky.FM did anything else until I read the forums a bit this morning! Ah, well. I really discovered I love smooth jazz through Sky, so perhaps I'll try some other music through their other channels; after all, I feel like I'd be sampling the best!

Default Hello everyone. First Post! I am new here.

Hi Boys and Girls!

I am new here.

I love the music.

Since I found this station yesterday, I have had the music on CONTINUOUSLY!

Who ever picks the music has great taste and I'd like to buy him/her a beer!

Dear Seryan: I'm glad you like the music here. If you are referring to the
Smooth Jazz channel, the person who picks and programmes the music is none other than Jimi King. He does have excellent taste, I agree.

Howdy Y'all...displaced Country boy living in the desert southwest for the time being. Name's Dan, and I'm an engineer. I listen mostly at work to drown out the p.a. system and people conferencing around me. Spent 99.9% of my time so far on the Country station, but I'll have to check out the smooth jazz station that I've been hearin so much about.

Also, where would I go about posting requests?

Hello to everyone from the (normally) sunny San Fernando Valley! I usually listen to either New Age or Smooth Jazz here on sky.fm, but have also been known to "wander" into the 70s and 80s channels, since I enjoy many different types of music

Question

Hi I'm Spike *Waves*

I'll be hanging out in the 80s threads as that's what brought me here. Although I must say, they need to mix up the 80s mix a bit more. I listen to that stream almost every day and the same songs appear over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over agian. I'm almost convinced they only have 24 hours streamed at any on time, and they play that every day hoping no one notices.

Anyone else agree with me.

I've heard that from a friend of mine who listens to that channel a lot as well.

Question

I love the 80s, and there are not many good 80s stations around, SKY.fm is one of the best out there. I just think it's a shame that it's got such a limited set. Do you know of a way where we can request songs or ask for songs to be added to their reparte?

Not a problem....Today's really slow, so I'm trying to entertain myself through other vices.
