Please feel free to suggest any japanese (not only pop) artist, or album/song of the already existing artists on the radio.
I will be glad to review all your requests and possibly include them in the stream as long as they resemble general Jpop radio station dirrection and mood. ![]() |

Yes, I became a big fan of the channel since I always have love the Japanese culture and more than ever now that I'm currently studying Japanese, so this channel suits me perfect!, I hear it almost all day long at the office during work, and if I can make another suggestions it would be try to keep the channel mostly Japanese speaking more than Japanese artists who sing in English, it's nothing wrong whit that but some songs just fell like I’m listening a normal channel, but again, this is just a humble suggestion. Keep up the good work!.
I would try to make more suggestion on the future once I get to know more groups around. Dewa mata! |

Thanks, I'll be slowly improving the variety and thematic dirrection of the station to make it mroe interesting.
I'm looking throught Ai Otsuka's stuff, thanks! As far as english songs of Japanese artists go, some audience not familiar with japanese language can find english songs more interesting or at least be a starting point for people not familliar with Jpop at all. I'm just saying its better to stay objective and try to target audiences all over the world. |

Can you throw in some music by Rurutia? I don't know if she's typical Jpop.

From this web site, I just listened a nice song.
Perfume, it is a girl group. I did some research, and they are pretty popular actually. I recommend and wish can hear more their songs in here. |

How about B'z? They're quite popular.
Another suggestion is The Pillows. Not very popular, and maybe not your typical Jrock mainstream, yet interesting and authentic. And one more name, Nanase Aikawa. J-pop with a little heavy sound if you ask me. |

I did look into World Order, but their compositions didnt strike a wibe, although clips were quite entertaining. KOTOKO's one song was selected so far, so far her selection of music is quite generic to Jameson Yes, yes we have The Pillows, but not as much of them as I would like. others I will look at asap |

Thank you for the great channel. Usually makes my day listening to it.
I saw them on muddy's list already, but just in case, I'd like to suggest only one group, don't know if they fit in or not: Stance Punks. Not exactly the Jpop line... |

I hope you're still taking suggestions. Something Sky.FM sorely needs to play is Namie Amuro (安室奈美恵), one of the most popular (if not THE most popular) japanese singers of all time. I frankly recommend her whole discography, but if you have to start somewhere, I suggest going with the albums "Play", "Best Fiction", "Past<Future", "Checkmate!" and "Uncontrolled". I really think you'll like the songs
